Matt is a native Vermonter and is the current shop foreman. He has been with HJL more than twenty years and is a lifetime resident of Berlin Vermont. He is a meticulous craftsmen with a fine eye for detail.
Steve has been with Heritage Joinery longer than any other employee and has many years experiance as a woodwoker. He was born in Pittsburg, PA, moved to Ohio where he attended Chagrin Falls High School and then received a BA from Ohio University. Steve moved to Vermont in 1975 and to Roxbury in 1978. He and his wife Judy have two daughters. His other interests include politics, the outdoors and sports. He also likes to make maple syrup every spring.
Rick is the owner and president of Heritage Joinery. He moved from Long Island to Vermont in the early seventies at the age of 20. He brought with him some woodworking skills that he learned from his father in their tiny basement home shop. One of his first jobs in Vermont was at The Vermont Wooden Toy company. After that he brought his woodworking skills to the prestegious Weather Hill Company where they built a reputation of producing work of the highest quality, including beautiful antique homes and nationaly renowned restaurants. His other interests include sports, outdoors and music. He collects and plays guitars and would like to buid his own guitar one day.
